Fontana is a city in San Bernardino County, California. Since 1913 it remained essentially rural, until World War II, when entrepreneur Henry J. Kaiser built a large steel mill in the area. Today, it is a regional hub of the trucking industry. It has an approximate population of 211,000 people, with the median sales price for a home being $425,000.

Fontana is bordered by Rialto (E), Bloomington (S), and Rancho Cucamonga (W). Fontana Unified School District is located within the city and serves most of its community.
